I function as an independent landscape architect and land-use policy consultant with more than ten years of diverse, applied experience in the field. I work closely with a petite-power house team of production technicians, landscape architects and facilitators who each support Kendall Flower Landscape Architecture (KFLA). This boutique approach to landscape architecture offers clients the experience of dealing directly with me as both the responsible business owner and lead landscape architect, where the decision making and project turn-around process is streamlined. KFLA often collaborates with other specialized professionals on larger sustainable-development and institutional projects.
Our team’s interests are in creating and preserving resilient landscapes, within urban, natural and restored contexts, from both a design and policy approach. We maintain a strong focus on engaging stakeholders and community throughout the decision making processes for both public-realm design and policy. Our team includes facilitators who are trained and experienced with innovative engagement approaches.
We are skilled in complex and detailed design drawing production, using industry-leading best practices for AutoCAD drafting and a number of software solutions and approaches to 3D site modeling and renderings.
KFLA is a full service landscape architectural consulting firm, seeing projects through, from initial concept development to detailed drawing production, construction tender, contract administration, construction review and warranty closeout.
